There is no doubt that Cloud Atlas will become a classic that will be seen over and over again by his faithful, and the ancestors of Stanley Kubrick and Ridley Scott students. Despite the many questions I had in my mind when I left the theater and moments during the film when I felt frustrated or confused, I knew that I never stopped to think about the film and the desire to get back in front of the screen. It is easy to criticize this film as some should not be too ambitious, bending low taste, too simple or too complex, too few or too many players, or even the celebration of the violence of revenge against the professional critics who write negative reviews. They can all be true, but critics are still placed in the same category as those who warn the population against 2001 or Blade Runner. The truth is that Cloud Atlas is within its scope, visual impact and noise, its mesmerizing flow and completely revolutionary narrative, and viewers will see it and feel it in their gut. This is a film that is a product of our age of knowledge based on universal access and vision, and the freedom that we have to travel the world and jump between the ages of genres, images and identities in our control. It reminds us that we are human and we can still hear our heartbeat, if we listen.
