Review:
I saw this movie the other day, and I really like a lot. It was what I expected (maybe a little better). If you want to watch a movie that very well thought out with a lot of character development and interesting subplots this is not the movie for you. If you want to watch a group of U.S. Marines hit the tar spacefreaks attack, then this is the movie for you. Since when does someone know for some time in the middle, the film is a nonstop thrill ride. Explosive material, foreigners spread, people got burned by the laser. In case you did not already suspect, this movie is very violent. Although there is a lot of blood, there is certainly a lot of death. These actions are unpredictable and silly. One minute everyone will walk between points A and B, to come, they are Crouching behind the burned cars and homes as extraordinary immigrants set fire on them from above. The special effects are also very good, except for some bad animation here and there. That said, the film suffers when it slows down. The dialogue is poorly written, and delivered decent, but not well. Aaron Eckhart, however, do a wonderful job as a Marine sergeant faces difficulty in keeping calm under fire. Most of the film's story / alien invasion war pretty normal thing. You know, when after a group fighting everyone gets upset and then leader gives big motivational speeches and inspiring music plays and everyone is feeling brave. So do not expect a masterpiece of modern cinema, expect a lot of courage and shooting pool and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
