Review:
I was lucky enough to see this movie much earlier than most. Anderson seems to me really hit its stride with this one. It seems strange that after leaving the theater it was I think most of all is what the heck to do next! Teacher is not an easy movie to sit down, and sometimes I do not even know what the movie wanted. But then you realize that the film does not want anything. All I ask is for you to watch. More than his previous films, mastered and there will be blood actually venture into the field of film as pure cinematic presentation of life. Phoenix and Hoffman are on another level here, especially the Phoenix in the role of a lifetime. There are definitely times in this movie that really disappears into the role. There are also some great supporting work from Laura Dern and others.It would be difficult to put the film in his work. More than anything, it feels like a natural extension of what began to enter the blood. Not to say that it will continue like this, but it's definitely more narrowly focused film of some earlier work file. I found that to be less attractive than some other jobs and never boring. You're always vigilant, trying to understand what happened and where the movie takes you. It's very simple, like humans, interesting work.
