Ill start directly from the cuff. Niccol is one of my favorite writer / directors. In fact, one of my favorite movie Gattaca, which is placed under it for years since its release. It was great for me hes science writer, so I was hoping to go to quality.Alas thing, In Time is not really sci-fi thinking. Paints a world where time is money. This is not a new idea, but fails Niccols push model as a product. Those who are time rich, who are time poor. Is a simple example. If other Niccols film, cinematography is beautiful. The best actors in the movie arent the main characters, but Cillian Murphy, Vincent Kartheiser, and (surprisingly) Alex Pettyfer is the most interesting characters. We all shine on, especially Murphy. the film looks like after a long drive, when you really want to delve into the complex - the complexity of the characters themselves questions about the world we live in one of the conversations taking place between anyone smart. Murphy is a great actor, and I was interested in talking to the right andthe gray has some wrong notions.
