Review:
I am bipolar. I've been that way since I was a young man. I approach 60 I've been in therapy for many years. There was a relapse and the time in the hospital. There were good times. Before I got a good treatment, I leave a trail of emotional, relational and professional disaster behind me. It broke up the lives of others as much as it did my own.I did not know what to expect from this movie. It is incredibly accurate journey into the mind of BP patient. It shows that the disease outside too. It is amazing in its accuracy. Mood disorders, detachment from reality, failure to learn from past mistakes are there. Here is a guy who is so messed up he is in the hospital. It was released in the custody of his parents. He improved physically still can not see what he does, what is now and what the future bodes any kind reality.There and other situations in the film which reflects BP's life. There are jobs, broken relationships, unlimited optimism, anger and feeling that no one understands you. But he has not even understand. He thinks he's just a normal guy around. He is in complete denial still goes along with treatment, just to get along with others.The obsession with his wife driving it. Everything he does is make you look desirable to her.Then a hair trigger and propensity for violence that eventually put him in the hospital. He has a belief that he looks a lot more clarity than any other. There is also a hatred of drugs and believe that he should not them.Yet, there is hope. There is no miracle cure. There negotiate peace between his illness and how he must be to survive in the world.The only thing I felt was missing was a crushing depression. But I understand it. Depression makes for lousy movies. The film is strictly for manic life who want to be better, but can not accept that he is dead wrong center normal.If is bipolar and under control, this film to see! If you live with or deal with BP, see this movie. If you heal, you wont get it because BP clouds mind.My new wife and I went to see him. Until I said I had this mental illness. She still married me. She is a health worker with an understanding of the disease and treatment. After the film, she asked me what I thought.I and told her that I was a little afraid to tell you how to play the space I've seen it all before.But like all bipolar sufferers, I wanted her to know that I never was not so bad. The truth is, I was .... BP people, but we do not treat reality all that well.
