Review:
We saw it tonight with 30 pre-screening Service in Atlanta. Let me say that I am a 50 year old film lover. Sci Fi is my favorite genre, but I have seen most of the scientific fi classics. I did not know what to expect because I do not necessarily sci-fi comedy fan. For example, although a little entertainment, I was not happy with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I was in awe of some of the players, but not really film.So we got there, the theater was packed. They were turning people away at the door. Although I had doubts and was not sure Id, as it turns out, is very much! ALL members of the audience seemed to be laughing at yourself hysterics for most of the film. And the whole audience applauded wildly END Note: This movie is not for devoutly religious, or those who are offended by swearing and sexual references. Period. If you think you might be offended by the anti-religious humor, swearing or sexual references, then do not go. And I recommend it for older teens only teens.Amazingly is not new, for the first 20 minutes or so, I found myself thinking it's amazing! If only they could keep it funny for the rest of the film ..... so much comedy begins with a bang, and then simply fed end of the film ..... But I could be wrong. He is not only a remarkable pace constantly, but introduced many great characters on the way.If you liked Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, it will be right up your alley. There was a science fiction movie references Party (Alien, ET, Close Encounters of the third kind, Star Wars, Aliens, Predator, etc.) It was AWESOME cast, amazing character development, and a terrific script that went from sweet and moving, have fun, so scary, and back. It was really so much fun! It's obscene, it will certainly be offensive to some American Christians, and it is quite sci-fi, but it's absolutely hilarious. So you sci-fi comedy lovers, GO! Run to the theater to see it on the big screen. Take your friends and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
